Rooted in the Smokies

East Fork Nursery is a family-run nursery in Sevierville, Tennessee, tucked into the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. For more than 35 years we’ve grown plants suited to the eastern United States — today more than 170 kinds of azaleas, 59 distinct conifers, mountain laurels and a range of hardy shrubs, all raised in the same soil and seasons they’ll call home.

What We Grow

Our specialty is native deciduous azaleas, prized for their wide range of colors and the fragrance of many of them.  Alongside them we grow conifers for year-round structure and mountain laurels, the classic flowering evergreen of the Eastern mountains — plus dozens of perennials and shrubs. We are also working on some choice rhododendron selections, including the Dexters and others.  What you see online is a selection; the full collection is here at the nursery and always expanding.
